Welcome to Vexill-Uhm?

A fun and fast-paced flag-guessing game! Here's how it works:

Game Modes

  1. Pick Your Challenge:
    • Regions: Choose a continent. Each round has 10 random flags from that region.
    • Random: Get 25 random flags from the global pool.
    • Beast Mode: Take on all 250 flags for the ultimate challenge!
  2. Time to Guess:

    For each turn, you'll see a country name and 4 flags. Choose the correct flag within 10 seconds.

  3. Scoring:

    Earn points based on how quickly you guess:

    • Time remaining = points earned for that flag (e.g., 5 seconds left = +5 points).
    • Quicker answers = higher scores!
  4. Feedback:
    • Green: Correct flag.
    • Red: Incorrect options.

    Hover over flags to see their country names. Your result (correct/incorrect) is displayed below.

After the Round

View detailed results, including:

  • Flags you played (in order).
  • Correct/incorrect answers.
  • Points earned for each flag.
  • Total score, time taken, and accuracy.

Practice & Study

Study Mode: Learn at your own pace! View all 250 flags by country name. Click a country to open its flag in a practice modal.

Track Your Progress

Leaderboard:

  • Your best scores are saved locally for each game type (using localStorage).
  • Tracks:
    • High Score: Points earned.
    • Fastest Time: Duration of the round.
    • Date Achieved: (e.g., 10 Jan 2025).
    • Times Played: Total attempts for each game mode.
  • Beat your best score to update it!

Reset Progress: Want a fresh start? Reset the leaderboard for a specific game mode.
